The Backrooms: Eternal Loneliness is a survival-based PvP game with a gripping storyline that immerses players in the terrifying depths of the Backrooms. Tiredness And Movement

Movement and fatigue play a crucial role in survival. Players must carefully manage their stamina, as exhaustion can be the difference between life and death. To stay in peak condition, drinking Almond Water can restore stamina, sanity, and health, while certain abilities

  • Sliding: Slide across the floor to avoid dangers or navigate through tight spaces quickly.
  • Sprinting: Sprint at full speed to evade threats, but be wary—overuse leads to exhaustion.
  • Tiredness: Manage your stamina, as running out of energy leaves you vulnerable to both the environment and entities.
offer alternative ways to recover or enhance movement. As you wander through Eternal Loneliness, various encounters and items may either drain your energy or leave you feeling completely revitalized. The only way to know is to take the risk—will it push you to your limits, or give you the strength to keep going?

Escape or Seek Secrets?

The deeper you go, the greater the dangers that lurk in the shadows. Will you risk it all for the truth, or find a way out before it's too late?

Entities

The Backrooms are home to various terrifying entities. Each of these entities poses unique threats and challenges as you explore the endless maze.

Entity: *I̵̤̳̺̝̓̉͒͊̇͘͠ͅṪ̸̜͈̪̜̣̝̂̃͒̂̍̐͌͋͝͝ͅ*

*I̵̤̳̺̝̓̉͒͊̇͘͠ͅṪ̸̜͈̪̜̣̝̂̃͒̂̍̐͌͋͝͝ͅ* is not a normal entity—it's a mistake, a glitch, a manifested bug that accidentally made its way into the game. A bug, once a harmless code error, now stalks those who venture too far into the Backrooms.

Once a player crosses the "TooFar!" threshold—35,000 studs into the Backrooms—*I̵̤̳̺̝̓̉͒͊̇͘͠ͅṪ̸̜͈̪̜̣̝̂̃͒̂̍̐͌͋͝͝ͅ* will always manifest, no matter what. Once you encounter it, there is no escape. You are completely doomed. *I̵̤̳̺̝̓̉͒͊̇͘͠ͅṪ̸̜͈̪̜̣̝̂̃͒̂̍̐͌͋͝͝ͅ* relentlessly hunts those within the 35,000-stud zone and will not stop until everyone outside of that zone is dead.

This entity typically manifests on **Level 0** in the "TooFar" zone, an area just past the boundaries of safety. Once encountered, escape is impossible, and survival becomes an unthinkable challenge. *I̵̤̳̺̝̓̉͒͊̇͘͠ͅṪ̸̜͈̪̜̣̝̂̃͒̂̍̐͌͋͝͝ͅ* hunts continuously, and it never tires. The closer you get to it, the more horrifying and unrelenting it becomes, consuming all hope until your inevitable demise.

Entity: *The Wretched*

*The Wretched* Wretched

Before the Reimagened Update was once a player, someone who thought they could exploit the system. However, this entity's story is a tragic one—a being who met their end due to their own betrayal of the game’s natural order.

The Wretched now roams the halls of an unreleased level known as **Level YOU CHEATED**. It is a place reserved for those who attempt to exploit the game through hacking, cheating, or other unethical means. Those who cheat or exploit the game are sent to this level, where they are confronted by *The Wretched*—an unforgiving entity that exists solely to hunt down those who have dishonored the game.

Once a cheater or hacker is sent to **Level YOU CHEATED**, they become the next victim of *The Wretched*. They are no longer in control of their actions, but are bound to the walls of the level, trapped in an eternal wait for the next unfortunate soul to arrive. *The Wretched* has a singular goal: to rid the game of those who exploit it.

After their fall, they are transformed into the very thing they once feared: a being with no purpose but to wait, to stalk, and to punish others for their wrongdoings. Trapped in an endless cycle, *The Wretched* now stalks the halls of **Level YOU CHEATED**, ready to teach the next hacker or cheater the true consequences of their actions.

Levels

The Backrooms consist of various levels, each more eerie and perilous than the last. Here's a quick rundown of the known levels:

Level 0

Level 0 is the first and most unsettling level players encounter. It Level0 Level 0 after the reimagened update Part 2 of 3 consists of an endless maze of mono-yellow walls, fluorescent buzzing lights, and an eerie atmosphere that can drive you mad. The longer you stay, the more the dread and loneliness consume you. But be warned, don’t venture TooFar, or *It* will find you.

The maze grows glitchy and unrecognizable as you move deeper, with walls distorting and becoming harder to navigate. The air becomes thick, and the buzzing lights flicker incessantly, distorting time and reality itself. The deeper you go, the more twisted and deadly the environment becomes, and *It*—a mysterious entity—lurks in the shadows, waiting to strike if you push past the boundaries of safety.

Level 1

Level 1 is a dimly lit warehouse with an unsettling atmosphere, filled with wooden boards, wire, and almond water. The layout of this level resembles an indoor car park, with low-hanging fluorescent lights that hum in a similar fashion to Level 0—just less intense. The buzzing is still present, but it’s quieter, almost like a soft background noise that heightens the tension.

There are materials here—wooden boards, wires—that can be used to craft tools and potentially defend yourself against the few hostile entities lurking in the shadows. Almond water is scattered throughout the warehouse, providing a brief respite from hunger and thirst. But as you explore, be cautious; this level is still far from safe, and the deeper you go, the more hostile the environment becomes.

Level 2

As you venture deeper, the environment shifts into a twisting labyrinth with narrow hallways and few landmarks. Entities here are more aggressive and harder to escape.

Level 3

A terrifying environment filled with industrial machinery, broken pipes, and a constant, disorienting hum. Entities here lurk in the shadows and stalk players relentlessly.

Level 4

Progressing further into the Backrooms reveals increasingly bizarre and disturbing levels. Each has its own challenges, from hostile creatures to changing environments that seem to warp reality.

Unreleased Levels

This section showcases some of the unreleased levels that are currently under development. These levels are not yet available in the game or on the testing ground:

Level YOU CHEATED

Level YOU CHEATED is a special and secretive level, designed to punish those who attempt to exploit the game. Whether through cheats like infinite sprint, kill aura, or other unfair advantages, players who are caught exploiting the game are sent to this level as a form of retribution. It serves one singular purpose: to rid the game of cheaters and to show the consequences of dishonesty.

Upon arrival, players find themselves in a room with an eerie, familiar image on the wall—a photo taken from the game's assets (not the background image, but a different one). This sets the tone for the grim reality of the level. After a brief 5-second delay, a series of pop-up messages will appear, stating:

Level YOU CHEATED
  • "You have been sent here for cheating or exploiting."
  • "Your actions have consequences, and now you must prove yourself."
  • "The rules are simple:"
  • "If you die, leave, cheat again, or the timer runs out..."
  • "You will be permanently banned."
  • "If you escape this game, you will be whitelisted."
  • "TIME'S TICKING, [YOUR USERNAME] :)"

After the pop-ups, a door opens, and the player is forced to step into a hallway. The exact layout and design of the level remain a mystery, but it is known to be a treacherous place, filled with unknown dangers.

One thing is certain: as the player progresses deeper into **Level YOU CHEATED**, they will inevitably encounter *The Wretched*, an unforgiving entity that relentlessly hunts down those who have fallen victim to their own cheating. *The Wretched* is both a reminder of the mistakes players made and a constant threat throughout the level.

Survival in **Level YOU CHEATED** is no simple task. The timer is ticking, and every decision counts. Players must either escape or face the consequences of their actions: a permanent ban from the game.

Level Run for Your Life

Level YOU CHEATED

Level Run for Your Life is a high-stakes and intense level where the player must race against time and avoid relentless dangers. Once the level begins, sirens blare, signaling the start of a frantic sprint. The player must dash through the hallways as quickly as possible, trying to avoid a group of deadly entities while seeking out almond water to restore stamina and counteract fatigue. However, as the player runs deeper into the level, almond water becomes increasingly scarce, adding a layer of strategy and difficulty.

At the end of the hallway, a bright exit door with the word "EXIT" above it offers a chance for escape, but there’s a catch: there are fake exits that resemble the real one but have a subtle red tint rather than the signature purple hue. The wrong choice will send the player further into the danger, while the right one will lead to safety.

  • "The sirens are blaring—run for your life!"
  • "Stamina is crucial; find almond water to keep going."
  • "Choose your exits carefully—some are fake."
  • "Entities like Smilers, SkinStealers, and Facelings are right behind you!"
  • "The only way out is the bright exit door."
  • "Time is ticking—escape before it’s too late!"

As the player progresses through the level, they must outrun *Smilers*, *SkinStealers*, and *Facelings*, which have been introduced in the *Friends Forever* update. These entities are relentless and will stop at nothing to catch the player. The further the player runs, the more intense the chase becomes.

The journey culminates at the bright exit door. If the player escapes, they are immediately sent to **Level 0**, never able to return to **Run for Your Life**. However, if they die at any point during the level, they are locked out of ever returning to this level, and the game itself will become unavailable to them. This makes **Run for Your Life** a once-in-a-lifetime achievement—players only have one shot to complete it.

The level’s duration can range from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the resources the player has and their ability to avoid danger. It's a high-pressure, adrenaline-fueled race that will test every player's skill and will to survive.

Items

This section provides details about the various items you can find in the Backrooms:

Almond Water

Almond Water is a rare and highly useful item in the Backrooms. It can be used to:

  • Regain sprint tiredness or sanity, especially useful for long stretches of running or staying alert in terrifying environments.
  • Stun entities, though it will make them faster once the stun effect ends. Be careful—using Almond Water to stun can make your enemies even more dangerous afterward.
  • Restore health or sanity, which makes it essential for survival in certain levels like Level 2 or Level 3, where the environment is harsh.

While Almond Water can be useful in many situations, it is not found in some of the more dangerous levels like Level 0, Level 6, or Level 9. However, it can be found relatively easily in Level 4 and Level 3, where it can be crucial for survival.

Wooden Boards

Wooden Boards are a versatile item that can be used for defense and attack. Here’s what they can do:

  • Stun or knock back entities or humans, especially in dangerous encounters.
  • Wooden Boards will snap in two after being used more than five times or if they are used to stun entities or knock back enemies repeatedly.
  • If you use the Wooden Board to knock back enemies, it will drain your stamina, and the noise will alert other entities or players to your location.

Wooden Boards are fairly rare in Levels 0, 5, and 6, but they are more commonly found in the dangerous levels like Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4, where they can be quite helpful for dealing with aggressive entities.
